Tips for getting Published

Well, I know I'm not some big-shot author, or professional best seller, but I can give a few tips I was given.

1.)   Read the kind of books you're writing. See how the author style is and compare it to your own. (but keep originality!)

2.)   Have someone (who won't steal your great ideas) to proofread what you have. Have them circle mistakes and make suggestions on how to improve.

3.)   Go to search engines to find publishers, instead of typing in a single Publisher house. The search engines will display more publishing houses.

4.)   Buy Writer's Market books or go online to get "professional ideas" on how to improve your writing.

5.)   If necessary or if wanted, send your writing to an agent. They'll do the looking for you, but take a little from your profit.

6.)   Have Fun!

Don't get Discouraged!
No one gets published at once. It takes time and patience.  A TON of turn-downs will come your way but keep trying!
